The worthlessness of vitamin D is mildly exaggerated
The value of vitamin D has been slightly overstated. Many people believe it improves bone health, heart health, and more, but experts generally agree that unless there is a severe deficiency, supplementing with vitamin D has no significant effect. Although randomized trials show that the correlation between vitamin D and health outcomes is not causal, supplementation may still benefit those with low vitamin D levels. About 98% of people have normal vitamin D reserves, so supplementation has little impact on them.

They found that models focus more on the style of the text rather than the actual content, leading to serious security risks, with attack success rates dropping sharply from 61% to 10%. The study calls this phenomenon "role confusion" and considers it a key challenge for current models in dealing with prompt injection.
Porting the Moebius 0.2B image inpainting model to run in the browser with Claude Code
The Moebius 0.2B lightweight image inpainting model has been successfully ported to the browser. Users can remove content by marking areas in an image, and the model will automatically fill in the blanks. This project uses WebGPU for implementation, and the model weights have been released on Hugging Face. Users can try the demo at simonw.github.io/moebius-web/.
